Philippe Echaroux made Indian from Surui tribe appear on the Amazon Jungle in his Street Art 2.0 project.

This looks simple- faces being shown on trees, but it is more than that. -

The first thing it does is creating art without destroying. Is street art you paint on a wall changing it. -

Street Art 2.0 is an illusion, it is etheric is is there but not exactly and it will disappear and these photos are the only remainder. -

We finish with the most important message- these faces belong to people that live there; and when the trees disappear so will the faces, and when the Amazon Jungle is gone so will the people that live there. -

Philippe Echaroux said a lot about the frailness of art and human lives. Was it more art or a statement? I think good art is a statement and the statement is- by destroying our surroundings we, in the end, destroy ourselves.
